An evening of Welsh voices featuring the sonorous sound of Côr CF1 and the incredible force that is soprano Jessica Robinson. Join us for a rousing evening of song!

In 2023, Royal Welsh College of Music opera school graduate, Jessica Robinson became the first Welsh finalist of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in 20 years.

As well as her operatic performances with WNO and Longborough Festival Opera among others, she is a regular soloist in oratorio and concert performances around the UK and has performed around the world. She also works with the Forget-me-Not chorus, supporting people with dementia.

Côr CF1 is one of Wales' most successful choirs. The choir's achievements include numerous awards at national and international competitions and singing with world-renowned artists. The choir has also performed in some of the most magnificent venues in the world including Trinity Church New York, Köln Cathedral in Germany and St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice.

Since its inception in 2002, under the musical direction of Eilir Owen Griffiths, CF1 has evolved from a youth choir to one of Wales' leading mixed choirs. Their successes include winning the BBC Choir of the Year in 2014, first prize at the Derry Choral Festival in 2018 and first prize in the mixed choir competition at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. In addition, the choir has won the mixed choirs category in the Côr Cymru competition twice, and the mixed choir competition at the National Eisteddfod three times. Also, CF1 was crowned festival choir at the 2019 Llanrwst National Eisteddfod.
